In May 2025, the Mirani Foundation Advisory Council was delighted to approve a grant to Seeds and Bridges, a wonderful nonprofit founded by Yassin Terou that provides stability and hot meals for community members and first responders in emergencies in the United States and abroad.
Yassin recently returned to Knoxville after helping refugees in Syria, so members of our Advisory Council were able to meet with him and several members of his staff at Yassin’s Falafel House in West Knoxville to present the check for our support.
